Climate Change is Human Caused.
Our official position is that climate change is caused by human activities. Between the increased release of carbon emissions from transportation and the pollution from major cities, there is simply no denying it. There is extensive research from thousands of diverse scientists supporting this idea. Over many centuries, humans have been emitting harmful gases, such as carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. This is a large issue for a number of reasons, for one, carbon along with other gases such as methane and nitrous oxide are contributing to the greenhouse effect. This phenomenon explains how the earth's atmosphere traps in heat energy from the sun. These gases, known as greenhouse gasses make this situation worse by absorbing an excess amount of this radiant energy. Since 1900, carbon emissions have increased by over 900% from human causes causing the earth to warm by an average of 0.9 degrees celsius. This drastic temperature change simply could not have happened naturally over such a short amount of time. This rapid increase in greenhouse gas emissions is causing more and more heat to be trapped in the biosphere, causing the climate worldwide to increase. The majority of modern science shows that climate change is caused by human activity, numerous sciencetests such as Dana Nuccitelli, John Cook, Sarah A. Green,Mark Richardson and Peter N. Doran. In addition, the pollution from all of humans destructive ways has caused numerous health issues such as increased respiratory and cardiovascular disease. This has correlated vastly with climate change over the last 100 years. Climate change is caused by human activities and will have detrimental effects on our planet and our well being.
